Two Republican senators are criticizing President Donald Trump and his crew for his or her efforts to power state and native election officers to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victories in different intently contested states.
Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, one in every of Trump’s maximum vocal GOP critics, tweeted Thursday, “It’s tough to consider a worse, extra undemocratic motion via a sitting American President.”
Romney accused Trump on resorting to “overt power on state and native officers to subvert the desire of the folk and overturn the election.”
Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., went after Trump legal professional Rudy Giuliani, who held a press convention Thursday presenting a listing of far-fetched, totally debunked claims at the 2020 election.
